Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the following programmes ar BIT, Mesra Campus

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm)

Eligibility:

o                                Candidates must have passes class 12/ I.Sc. or equivalent qualifying examination (QE). They must have passes in English, Physics and Math/ Biology/ Biotech in class 12/ QE with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST), computed as average of 4 subjects- English, Physics, Chemistry and Math/Biology/ Biotech. 

Bachelor of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (BHMCT)

o                                candidates must have passed in all subjects in which they have appeared in class 12/ QE (excluding optional subjects) with minimum 50% marks in average (45% for SC/ST) computed as average of best 4 subjects including English. 

B.Sc. Food Processing Technology (FPT)

o                                Pass in class 12/QE with minimum 50% (45% for SC/St) in aggregate in best 4 subjects, including English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology.

 

Selection process: Will be based on marks obtained in class 12/QE and counseling for eligible candidates to be held at Mesra.

Doctoral Programmes @ BITS, Pilani

Eligibility for Admissions:
Any Higher Degree of BITS or its equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate in the qualifying examination. Any applicant with qualification equivalent to Integrated first degree of BITS will be first examined for suitability to one of the higher degree programmes of the Institute. Such candidates may first be admitted to the M.E./M.Phil.
programmes offered by the Institute subject to the eligibility conditions. Shortlisted candidates will be called for a written test/interview for selections. Selected candidates will be given financial assistance in the form of either a fellowship of any government agency or of the Institute, project or teaching assistantship, full/partial tuition waiver or a combination of these. Such selected candidates will be required to participate in teaching and any other developmental activities of the Institute under the guidance of a mentor.
Industries and R & D Organizations collaborating with BITS can sponsor candidates to work for Ph.D under the Ph.D Aspirants Scheme. Under this Scheme such Employed professionals working in Industries and R&D Organizations having long experience and proven competence aspiring for Ph.D. programme will be considered and will be allowed to pursue their research at their own locations of work.

Eligibility for Admissions:
For admission to any of the above Integrated First Degree programmes Candidates should have passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Further the candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 80% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in 12th examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects and should have adequate proficiency in English.
